Rejuran in Korea: how much is it, how many cc, Healer vs HB, and can you fly home the same day?

Short answer

At SKINLIFT SEOUL, Rejuran costs ₩500,000 for Healer 2 cc, ₩450,000 for HB 2 cc, and ₩300,000 each for S and Eye 1 cc, all per session and excluding VAT. A full face starts at 4 cc, so with Healer it is the price of two 2 cc syringes: ₩1,000,000 (₩1,100,000 with VAT). For one area of concern, 2 cc is enough. If you worry about pain, choose HB; if results come first, Healer; for the eye area only, Eye 1 cc. I prefer injecting by hand, because I can match the depth to each skin layer and less product is wasted, but an injector device can be easier when the area is large. You can fly home the same day.

How much does Rejuran cost in Korea? How is one syringe versus a full face priced?

At SKINLIFT SEOUL (Dr. Designer Clinic, Yeongdeungpo, Seoul), the price of Rejuran is set by the product and the number of cc. Every amount in the table is a per-session price and excludes VAT, so 10% is added when you pay.

ProductVolumePrice (excl. VAT)Incl. VAT
Rejuran Healer2 cc₩500,000₩550,000
Rejuran HB2 cc₩450,000₩495,000
Rejuran S1 cc₩300,000₩330,000
Rejuran Eye1 cc₩300,000₩330,000

What people usually call “one syringe of Rejuran” is one syringe, that is, 2 cc. A full face starts at 4 cc, and the price is that of two 2 cc syringes. Counted as two Healer 2 cc syringes, that is ₩1,000,000, or ₩1,100,000 with VAT. HB 4 cc is the price of two HB 2 cc syringes. In the United States, Rejuran’s maker states that “any use other than for topical application is not authorized in the United States.”

Why does Rejuran cost so differently between Seoul clinics for the same 2 cc?

The price of Rejuran 2 cc varies quite a lot between clinics in Seoul. Comparing the numbers alone is confusing, but once you line up the four points below on the same basis, you can see where the difference comes from.

  • Product type and cc. Healer, HB, S and Eye are each priced differently, and when 2 cc prices, 1 cc prices and 4 cc bundle prices are mixed together, a simple comparison does not work. For a price listed only as “Rejuran”, first check which product and how many cc it is.
  • By hand or by device. Whether each point is placed by hand or a device repeats the same setting changes how the treatment is done.
  • Whether the product contains an anesthetic. A product mixed with an anesthetic, such as HB, and the original Healer are different products.
  • Whether the injector watches the layers. Whether the depth is matched to each skin layer makes a difference in the treatment, even with the same 2 cc.

Whether VAT is included in the price list also varies by clinic, so put prices on the same basis when you compare. Our Healer 2 cc is ₩550,000 including VAT.

How many cc of Rejuran do you need for the full face? Can you do just one area?

If you have Rejuran on the full face, 4 cc is the baseline. One syringe is 2 cc, so covering the whole face with 2 cc naturally leaves too little for such a wide area. That is why 2 cc works better when concentrated on an area of concern, such as around the eyes, fine lines on the cheeks or pores.

The S and Eye products come in 1 cc units. If you only want the eye area done, you can start with 1 cc. How 2 cc is divided by area is covered separately in How much of the face does Rejuran 2 cc cover.

Rejuran Healer vs HB vs Eye: what do the black, red and white boxes mean? Is there a painless Rejuran?

The box colors of Rejuran are not official product names but nicknames used among clinics and patients. The maker’s official lineup is REJURAN, REJURAN I, REJURAN S and REJURAN HB Plus, and “Healer” is also a name used when selling it. The same color can point to different products depending on the source, so at the consultation it is more accurate to confirm by product name than by color.

By the distinction I use, it looks like this.

  • Black box (Healer). The original, with no anesthetic mixed in, aimed at regeneration and pores.
  • Red box (HB). Hyaluronic acid and an anesthetic are added, so it hurts less, and it leans toward hydration. This is what people usually call “painless Rejuran”.
  • White box (Eye). Often used where the skin is thin, such as around the eyes.

The way to choose is simple. If you find pain hard to bear, HB; if results come first, Healer. S is a 1 cc product, and since its box-color nickname differs by source, I will not assign one here.

Does Rejuran hurt? How are hand injection and an injector device different?

Numbing cream is applied before Rejuran. Even so, the needle is more noticeable than with a skin booster. If you are afraid of pain, the numbing cream can be left on longer, or ice can be applied first. The treatment takes about 15–30 minutes depending on the area.

There are two injection methods: by hand, placing one point at a time, and with a device. Personally, I prefer injecting by hand. I can match the depth precisely to each skin layer, and less product runs off and goes to waste. That said, many clinics use a device. For areas that are small, have many curves or vary in thickness from zone to zone, hand injection lets each point be adjusted, while for a large area a device that repeats the same setting can be easier. The difference between the two is covered in more detail in Rejuran by hand vs with an injector.

How often, and how many sessions of Rejuran do you need?

The common approach is to start with 3–4 sessions at 2–3 week intervals. But for someone flying in, keeping that interval is hard. So this is what I recommend.

  • First visit. Even one session improves dryness and glow right away. If your skin is dry, it can turn into dewy, glowing skin.
  • If your next visit is 2–3 months later. Have one more session then.
  • Maintenance. After that, once every 6 months to a year is enough.

Can you fly home the same day after Rejuran?

You can fly home on the same day you have Rejuran. Small bumps and redness come up at the injection points, but they usually settle by that evening, and at most within 3–4 days.

Plan your schedule like this.

  • If you plan to take photos during your trip, book Rejuran on the last day.
  • If you are also having another treatment that needs a check afterward, have it 2–3 days before you fly home. Sometimes it needs a touch-up.
  • For 3 days after treatment, avoid saunas and strenuous exercise.

Who is Rejuran right for, and who is it not right for?

Rejuran suits people whose skin texture is rough or dull, or whose concern is dryness. Dry skin tends to improve quickly even after one session. Pores that look stretched because of lost firmness can also improve partly with Rejuran alone. On the other hand, it is not the right choice if you want a hollow filled right away, or expect fine lines, pores and firmness to all improve at once.
