Pores that look enlarged after elasticity drops: look at Rejuran first
If pores have come to look enlarged along with a drop in skin elasticity, Rejuran alone may give partial improvement. In this situation I don’t start by stacking up a complicated combination of treatments.
This is also why just saying “I want smaller pores” isn’t enough to choose a treatment. I first look at whether the pores became noticeable as the skin loosened, or grew larger after breakouts. The two look similar, but the way to treat them may differ.
Enlarged pores after acne may need laser or RF microneedling
For enlarged pores caused by acne, I look further at how much the skin itself needs to regenerate. Here, fractional laser or RF microneedling may be more necessary than simply adding more Rejuran.
So my judgment is not a binary “Rejuran works for pores” or “it doesn’t”. It separates the cases where partial improvement can be expected from the cases that may need other treatment. The nose tip and front cheeks are areas I pay attention to when judging, but they are only a clue; I still look at the skin’s condition and the history of breakouts together, and the area alone does not decide the treatment.
