Mole · Wart removal
Mole removal uses the heat of a laser to clear the pigmented mole cells in the skin layer by layer. How deep the treatment goes depends on whether the mole sits in the epidermis or extends into the dermis, and whether it is flat or raised; deeper ones often need two sessions, with time in between for the skin to grow back on its own. We don’t sell a fixed number of spots up front. At the in-person consultation, the doctor looks at each mole’s position and shape one by one before deciding how to treat it, and the doctor at your consultation is the doctor who performs the treatment. A few scattered moles on the face, or moles that get in the way of makeup or are often rubbed, are all worth bringing to a consultation. But if a mole has recently grown, changed color or shape, itches or bleeds, we will not simply remove it as a cosmetic item: the doctor will first make a differential diagnosis and confirm what it is before discussing next steps.
