Botulinum toxin
Botulinum toxin is a treatment in which a very small amount of toxin is injected precisely into overactive facial expression muscles or an enlarged masseter (jaw muscle). The muscle’s ability to contract drops for a while, so dynamic wrinkles smooth out, and the masseter slowly gets smaller as it is used less. We don’t pre-package areas or numbers of units: wrinkles are counted by area and the masseter by units, and every detail is decided only after the doctor has seen your face at the in-person consultation. From the first consultation to the injection itself, the same doctor is in charge. It suits people with a clearly developed masseter and a square lower face, or with dynamic wrinkles such as forehead lines and frown lines that have already set in. If what you are hoping for is a change in contour caused by bone structure or fat, botulinum toxin cannot reach that layer, and we will explain this at the consultation and look for another direction.
