Collagen stimulator injection
A collagen stimulator injection is an injectable treatment placed in the subcutaneous layer. Once the ingredient is in the tissue, it triggers a mild foreign-body reaction that leads fibroblasts to slowly produce new collagen, gradually restoring lost volume and skin thickness bit by bit. We don’t pre-package a number of cc or syringes. Instead, the doctor looks at the hollowness and laxity of your face at the in-person consultation and only then decides the dose, and the consultation, the treatment design and the injections are all done by the same doctor. This treatment suits people with sunken areas such as the cheeks or temples who want gradual improvement, and when the skin is thick and needs immediate support, we look at Radiesse first. If you are expecting a mechanical lift that pulls loose skin upward, the way this treatment works will not match your expectations, and the doctor will explain a more suitable direction at the consultation.
